I've performed regionally in musical theatre for over 35 years. I hold an MFA and a BFA in Drama. Due to my training, both in school and professionally, I have developed a unique approach to the musical roles I've played. I pay extra attention to the dialogue, the lyrics, and even the music or orchestration to make a clear, relatable journey for any character I play.

I have taken roles typically played by white actresses and opened their world up to some color. Over the years, I've witnessed the power of making a show more accessible to people of color who have come to see live theatre and have been privileged to hear some say their lives were changed because "I see myself in a role not traditionally written for us."
